Consecutive interpreting
This form of interpreting is often used in business meetings and for training events. Just two languages are spoken and the interpreter follows the speaker with the foreign language speech. If a lot of technical data is involved, the interpreter will make notes while the speaker speaks.
Simultaneous or conference interpreting
The speaker’s words are interpreted as they are speaking (simultaneously). For this form of interpreting, you need interpreting equipment: booths, headphones and microphones, as well as simultaneous interpreters working in pairs.
Ad-hoc / business interpreting
In this form of interpreting, just two languages are involved. This is used for small groups, perhaps if a company is hosting a visiting delegation from a foreign country. The types of situation can be extremely varied.

We can also provide court interpreters for hearings and consultations. In addition, we can provide interpreters for Public Services - many of our interpreters are qualified to Diploma level in Public Service Interpreting.
